This project was a blast! Not only did I get to film and have fun with some of my friends, but it was for our church’s women’s conference, Arise Women’s Conference.

This was the first year that we were able to go global by offering a streamed conference. We found unique ways to engage with viewers, keep their focus and make them feel as though they were right there with us in the room. With everything 2020 + COVID threw at us, I believe it was a super successful conference. We had women attend from all over the world. This has been one of the largest projects I’ve been apart of to date and it was such an honor.

For this project, I used a speedboster adapter to mount full-frame Canon EF lenses. This also gives me 1 extra stop - so instead of the lens being an f/2.8, it lets me get as low as f/1.8 with a much larger field of view. Here are a few clips and images from the b-roll film shot on my Blackmagic Pocket 4k.
